Inger began her career in textiles with a desire to become a seamstress, but by chance ended up as a hand weaver in the design department at Kinnasand. It was there that Inger's passion for materials and textures, quality and design was ignited. After two years, Inger went to the Textile College in Borås, where she studied textile design and hand weaving. After completing her studies, she returned to Kinnasand, where she stayed for almost 30 years as a designer and later as a design manager.

Inger started her own design studio in 2004 and has since then regularly worked on assignments in product development for interior textiles, from clients such as Svensson.
