We are proud to have been part of this year's theme exhibition "Touch" at Habitare in Helsinki, curated by Collaboratorio.
The exhibition explored the human need to experience materials with their senses and highlighted tactility as a central part of interior design. "Touch" invited visitors to reflect on how material choices affect our experiences of space, atmosphere, and presence.
Svensson's hanging fabrics Grain formed the ceiling in the installation – a floating element that enhanced the feeling of closeness, softness, and sensory qualities. Through Grain, we wanted to show how textiles can create spatial experiences that speak to both body and mind.
At Svensson, we are pleased to contribute to a discussion on tactile and sustainable solutions in interior design, and we are constantly inspired to see how our textiles become part of meaningful design experiences.
