ANSU Orchids in the Netherlands
ANSU Orchids upgraded to Obscura 9970 FR A as a way to manage energy savings and shade with precision.

Phalaenopsis, as a popular plant in China in recent years, has been favored by many consumers due to its rich variety and long flowering period. This has also attracted many growers to continue cultivating and innovating in the field of Phalaenopsis production, striving to improve yield and quality.

The cultivation cycle of Phalaenopsis is relatively long, divided into growth, flower induction, and finished-product stages. Each stage has clear light and temperature requirements. However, many greenhouses, especially older ones, experience issues with light uniformity due to insufficient diffusion levels, structural shadows, and limitations of traditional shading systems.

Svensson’s PARperfect variable shading solution introduces a new way to flexibly regulate greenhouse light. Using only two layers of screens—including the patented Harmony 2047 FR diffuse screen—growers can achieve high diffusion even at low shading levels (20%). By adjusting the upper high-shading screen, stable and uniform PAR levels can be maintained.

The PARperfect solution enhances light uniformity, improves photosynthesis efficiency, reduces plant stress, and supports higher crop quality and yield. Dutch Phalaenopsis producers have widely adopted this system to achieve precise light control.
